I'm back. quite a year. Let's just look ahead for now! Was a great Christmas season and still have one Christmas gathering to go. It's been great.
Looking ahead to 2010 I am reminded of Jesus' first introduction to the ministry by His Father, God. The Fast. Jesus fasted 40 days in prep for His next 3 and half years.
In our preparation to launch Velocity church in Mansfield Ohio we're going to fast for 40 days. Of course these will be what I call limited fasts, meaning, each at their own level, but from the heart, and no cake walk either. Something we can be glad that we're doing, and glad that we did for God's sake in the months to come! He'll train us & prepare us in ways we can't imagine. Fasts are likes Sundays, I've never had a bad one. Well.... I have had maybe two Sunday's.... oh well! Fasts are like rope and knives - Gotta have'em to do the task ahead!
